“Beautiful Nature” Extended Until 27 September

The pop-up jewellery exhibition “Beautiful Nature”, part of the “Spectrum” series at the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design, has been extended until 27 September 2026.

The exhibition is the second of four exhibitions in the “Spectrum” series, jointly organised by the Latvian Jewellery Art Association and the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design. Featuring ten artists, it explores nature as a material, a subject of observation, a source of memory, and a process, revealing diverse interpretations of the relationship between humans and the environment.

The works are created using a variety of techniques and materials, showcasing the diversity of contemporary Latvian jewellery art and the individual artistic approaches of the participating artists. In this exhibition, nature is not merely a decorative motif – it becomes a starting point for exploring growth, transformation, fragility, time, and belonging.

The exhibition is on view until 27 September 2026 on the third floor of the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design, within the permanent exhibition “Design Process”.
