RIPA stands for jewellery creations by goldsmith and designer Peter Ripa. Peter is inspired by traditions of craftsmanship, cultural heritage and beauty of nature and it’s creatures. Born in 1974, in Riga. First professional knowledge of jewellery design Peter gains in Applied Arts College of Riga. After Arts college new horizons arise with USSR collapse and professional standards rise with apprenticeship and master studies at Hilde Leiss Gallery /Hamburg and Barbara Heinrich Studio / USA Ripa jewels are secret weapons that transform in statement accessories from parallel worlds. Unique custom orders and timeless collections in limited series are RIPA jewels essence. Simplicity, convenient feel of clean forms and amazing nature’s minerals are Peter’s passions.
