“Metal and its processing have been known to mankind for millions of years, but still metal keeps a lot of undisclosed secrets. It gives an opportunity to experiment and discover new ways of controlling metals and, once in the hands of the artist, the tough material can become soft and pliable. This mystery is one that most fascinate me in metalworking and gives me the opportunity to link metal and art. The creation of each jewelry is a challenge – how to portray my ideas in a small format composition and material that requires extensive technical knowledge in its processing. Thanks to technical knowledge, I have the opportunity to design my own jewelry from the beginning till the end, from idea to finished object. This path gives me the greatest satisfaction when, after a complicated process of development, I see my idea realized in an aesthetically pleasing art work.”
